Hello, again...

I’m Hein, a design professional with over 15 years of experience in the architectural industry, including five years in New Zealand. This journey has equipped me with a robust foundation in problem-solving, spatial thinking, and user-centred design—skills I’ve seamlessly carried into the creative and digital realms. My architectural background honed my ability to balance aesthetics with functionality, ensuring designs are both visually compelling and purpose-driven.

Recently, I expanded my expertise with a UX Design qualification from the UX Design Institute, enhancing my capacity to craft intuitive, impactful digital experiences. I thrive at the intersection of creativity and technology, leveraging design thinking to develop innovative, user-focused solutions. My career has spanned diverse project types—residential, commercial, industrial, educational, and religious—where I’ve taken on roles from designer and BIM lead to IT support, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver results through honest, relationship-driven communication.

Beyond architecture and UX, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by personal explorations in industrial design, interior design, branding, product design, web design, digital art, illustration, photography, 3D printing, graphic design and more. This breadth fuels my creativity, allowing me to approach every project with fresh insight and adaptability.

In my personal time, I find balance through reading, creative pursuits, and long walks in nature—a routine that keeps me grounded and inspired. I’m naturally curious, always eager to learn, and driven by a passion for order, structure, and continuous growth.
